We wondered whether the climb to the top of Coit Tower would be worth it or not. The hilly city that SF is, you see towering views of the city from multiple places. But very few are like this. Loved the textured effect the rooftops of the apartments created as the sky-scrapers rose behind them. And of course, to add to it, the pyramidal Transamerica building gives it the signature SF look.

Stanford University, a 15 walk down Palm Drive from downtown Palo Alto.

On a summer Sunday, you'll see the greens filled with families lazing around, kids playing and the awe-struck tourist busy taking photos. Hardly, the feel of an educational institution. Walk around the place, spend some time at the cafes, talk to a few students and you'll notice the presumptuous shine of the place beautifully turning into a place which means serious business. Of course, when you take your mind off the conversation and look the other way, the shines back !

Sombre delights !

Not everything is meant to be big and bold. Some things look smoothest when they are slim and subtle.

This is a GT Tachyon 3.0. A mid-ranged super-comfortable yet powerful road-bike I bought during my initial days in Mountain View. I use it to go to work everyday. Not to forget a ton of other random trips all over South Bay. And sometimes on the bridge too. For a more comprehensive gallery of the bike's images, click here

Motion blur, Day 1 Attempt 1. Was waiting to cross 5th Street on a chilly San Franciscan morning, when this car swerved by and luckily I had my camera ready. I'm not sure if I could do complete justice to it but I like the graphic effect that the colors on the buildings give to the image. The washed-out overcast sky gives a good feel of how suprisingly cold summer in the city can be.
